I do think it's pretty much the best way to go with new setting stuff, particularly since most people are going to usually treat a setting book like a buffet and take what they want and leave the rest.Treyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04647628467658839351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954394848487110923.post-67570659011853747242015-01-23T12:19:13.556-05:002015-01-23T12:19:13.556-05:00This looks awesome. I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan of that approach to setting material myself.Tom Doolanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03451129317759266295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954394848487110923.post-57537880918467927182015-01-23T10:24:29.171-05:002015-01-23T10:24:29.171-05:00The illustration is indeed an homage. Forthcoming are system books with implementations for Fate and for old school style sci-fi like Stars Without Number. Maybe more systems in the future, like Traveller, but that's still up in the air at the moment.Treyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04647628467658839351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1954394848487110923.post-54996415518000500422015-01-23T09:30:50.431-05:002015-01-23T09:30:50.431-05:00The cover is reminiscent of the Elmore Star Fronti...The cover is reminiscent of the Elmore Star Frontiers cover; is that intentional? Is this similar to SF? I definitely have to give a lot of credit to Lester (who did the layout) and the artists as this sort of relatively short text but still (hopefully) informative wouldn't have been possible without them.Treyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04647628467658839351noreply@blogger.com
