    1. Yeah it was. I had no expectations of the movie other than it was a zombie movie. I was glad to see a 'big budget' zombie flick because I was getting burned out on all the B and C zombie films of Netflix. Would I get it on Bluray, probably not, but it was fun to see in theater.

  3. I was distracted thinking about the big plot hole, and my disbelief at how stupid Pitt's character was. I know little kids who come up with better plans than his character does.

    1. I just enjoyed it for what it was. If you think too much about any movie you tear down the curtain and they aren't fun. I'm there not to think for a while and enjoy.

    2. I tried to turn the brain off, but since it still has to keep the heart beating and the diaphragm/lungs breathing, I couldn't turn it far enough down.

    1. Yeah, no long review for me. My brain can only handle a few words at a time.

  5. Did you read the book? And if so, how does the movie hold up against it?

    1. No I did not read the book. I read Max's other book, The Zombie Survival Guide. From what I understand the book is a glimpse into various parts of the world and how each is dealing with the zombies. The movie weaves its way through a few of those places with a single character.

    2. The book and the movie share a title. Maybe there are some other bits from the book, I can't say I noticed.
