    I hear too much about the real versions to ever "dive in" to kickstarting.

  5. There's no question that the situation of having taken money, then having not yet reached a point where the artistic process has reached fruition, is a damnable, unpleasant communication problem.

    "I haven't abandoned you."

    How do you make that clear, really? When your first responsibility is to the work and the second responsibility is to the investor. Yes, the SECOND responsibility. Both the investor and the creator are in this together, to make the work happen.

    I would have found the post more funny, honestly; Tim is consistently good at writing this kind of thing. Only I'm actually hemorrhaging at the moment and this feels like knives.
