My idea is to keep a list of the gaming stuff I purchase over the year to see how much I spend and what I spend it on. I started doing this last year and the idea petered out before the end of January. So I 'intend' to keep the list of purchases and their cost over on the right side. It might be a good cure for those impulse purchases. Two of which I just made.
Here goes.
Brave man! I wouldn't dare to do such a public accounting - for fear (a) I would weep at the vast sums spent in 12 months and (b) my wife would see it and cut off my Internet access completely! Good luck ;)
ReplyDeleteSee, I can't say anything to Tim, because I buy ingredients like other women buy jewelry, makeup and shoes.
ReplyDelete@ Whisk - You mean to wear? Surely it's more fun to eat the lot.
ReplyDeleteI think keeping the list is a good idea, at the very least as a temporary experiment to see what you can learn.
Love it! Can't wait to see what you procure. :)
ReplyDeletePerhaps I can help you out with a bit of free stuff. Please shoot me an email.

Well, sometimes I wear my ingredients, after a big day of cooking in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteNice idea! Maybe i'll do that too :)
ReplyDeleteI've just brought some indie rpgs on lulu.com worthing some advertising ^_^
Still it can be an eye opener if you are honest with the amounts.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea.
ReplyDeleteI have made a semi-commitment to not buy any RPG products this year. As in spend NO money on gaming besides pens, paper and such.
We'll see if that lasts for the year.
