If you're a gamer of older age his movies were must see. Any gamer of any age should watch his movies. I think his movies shaped my view of gaming in my early years. All the fantastic creatures that we populate the dungeons come to life.

For me the Children of the Hydra's Teeth as he portrayed them have very much shaped my idea of what a skeletal warrior should look like, and probably account for why I always favor un-dead themed campaigns and material.

ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I've jumped the gun on this and posted yesterday, but this is a great idea. We, as gamers, owe much of our inspiration to Ray's movies, which brought so many of our cherished creatures of mythology and the ancient world to life.
