If you only had time to get involved in one game this year, which or whose would it be? Could be a particular person, setting, system or more likely, all three combined.
I think this year I will have a chance to play in several games with different folks. Looking forward to getting out there a little more and playing in that huge sandbox.
Tough choice--and hopefully one I don't have to make. I would probably most want to get the chance to run a game in my Strange Stars setting, but there are so many things it's a close call.
That should be an easy question - but it's actually a real toughie the more I think about it. Part of my problem is my fickle nature and minutes after deciding on THE ONE I will always come up with a totally different idea ;-)
Probably what I'd really like to sink my teeth into is a massive, long-running superhero campaign with a GM willing to deal with character development and sub-plots away from the slugging supervillains bits.
I just want to play, not run, a D&D game. AD&D, AD&D 2e, OD&D, retroclone, whatever. I'm usually the one running the game. I'd like to be a player for awhile.

ReplyDeleteFor me, it's always my Greyhawk. What can I say? I'm just one of those "old farts."
ReplyDeleteThat was probably me you smelled when you were walking down the hallway the other day. ;)

Or an anime-inspired sci-fi game...

ReplyDeleteWhy, oh, why must I choose?
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying our Monday Night Gaming Group, so that would be my choice.
Like Tim K. up there, this is an increasingly difficult question to answer the more I think about it.
ReplyDeleteI would like to play in a game run by someone else that is a fantasy spaghetti western set in an alternate world.
