Sleestakk Sunday: Sup'

This casual dude of a sleestak is brought to you by Angelleo 76.  Looks like he should have a pair of faded jeans, thumbs in the pockets, a sun worn cowboy hat and a piece of straw hanging out of his mouth.  This is one chill'n sleestak.

The wife and I are headed to the book store.  Doing more edits on a project of mine.  I'll announce it as soon as I can figure out this whole POD stuff.

Early Sleestak Sunday

This picture comes from The DeviantMakepeace.  Sleestak have surrounded the the kids from the Ark.  I barely remember the Ark show.  I think I even had a big wheel version of the ark when I was wee.  Surprisingly I recognized the kids and their uniforms.  The ark kids are moments from being slung up in a net and fed the moaning sleestak god in the ever smoking pit.

Sleestak Sunday Future

I found this picture over at the Creature Spot.  They remind me of an evolutionary type of Sleestak.  I really dig the lava lamp brains.  If these guys were in Call of Duty they would look like bobble heads running around.  Brain pan splash.  Can you tell I got CoD: Ghosts?  I've been sucking bad and swearing a lot, but I still have my original controller intact.  So that's something.

Sleestak Sunday: A Day in the Life

Here's Fred Stak.  He's an amiable fellow who lives with his wife, Mary Stak and two children, Ben and Bonnie.  Fred work in the god pit mining for crystals to keep the pylons running.  With new order of forty-two new pylons from Lost World, he's been working a lot of ovetime.  Mary worries about him because instead of eating at home he's out hunting for food and he nearly been eaten by Grumpy twice last week. He's saving the extra crystals to purchase Ben a toy for his hatchday, a slingbow so he can practice to be as bad as his father.

Sleestak Sunday Went to Georgia

Lindsey Stirling has nothing on this sleestak created by Smurfygeorge

The Devil bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat.
And he laid that golden fiddle on the ground at Sleestak's feet.
Sleestak said, "Devil, just come on back if you ever wanna try again,
'Cause I've told you once--you son of a bitch--I'm the best there's ever been."

Sleestak Sunday

Richard67915 brings us The Sleestak of Light.  It looks like Enik is transcending his existence and has become one with the pylons.

Paint by the Numbers Sleestak Sunday

Sleestak, paint by the numbers brought to you by PopParty from Etsy.  If you wanna get your Bob Ross on you can get this paint by numbers and paint your own sleestak masterpiece.

This is what it looks like underneath.  I darkened the lines and number so you can see it better.  But doesn't it look like a cool map?  A topographical map.

Sleestak Sunday

This little guy was drawn by mengblom.  Apparently he's go his geek going on, lots of cool pictures of super heroes, Star Wars and this guy which is my second behind sleestaks.

That is all.

Sleestak Sunday is Shaking

What would a Sunday be without a sleestak?  I found another brilliant person over at Etsy who loves sleestaks, YokaiJohn.   The sleestak is wearing his slingbow low around the hips and Enik is just happy to have a buddy.  But what are they?  Something tells me there is something more to them than just happiness.

That's right, they are salt and pepper shakers.  Or two salt shakers.  Or two pepper shakers.  I guess you could put cinnamon in them or sugar.

These are great.  I want to go season something.

Check out YokiaJohn's store at Etsy.  There are a lot of cool things.  A dwarven ramrider, a gorilla with a laser gun and some guy with an eye in his butt.  What's not too like?

Sleestak Sunday Jewelry

Have a new love interest in your life?
Have an old interest that's pissed off at you?
Or do you like to rock sleestaks yourself?

Steamplanet over on Etsy has Sleestak Skull pendants that are the answer to all the questions above.

Seriously.  Go check out Steamplanet.  They have some crazy cool stuff there.  If you are a steam punk fan than go now.  Go to Steamplanet and come back lighter in pocket, but cooler in finery.  Here's a couple more of my favorites Steampunk Sculpture Terror Tractor with Death Ray!  If you don't click on that link just to see it you are on the wrong blog.  Go away.  I could put the entire inventory on here they are all great.

Happy Sleestak Sunday.  Even you Lurker!

Sleestak Sunday

Wow, this is a bad ass version of a sleestak brought to you from Creature Spot.  This one looks like a cross between piranha and bi-pedal reptile.

Then the a few version of sleestak armed with weapons.  Great work.

I'm spending the day trying to reorganize the office.  It's a practice in futility, but I might actually get a clean spot.

Sleestak Sunday

+Zzarchov Kowolski found his picture and shared it with me.  I love it.  Looks like someone was cleaning out their garage and found a sleestak behind the extra storm windows and the bins of Christmas decorations.  I should check my garage for one of those...but I don't have a garage.

Keeping It Simple on a Sleestak Sunday Night

Not sure where I found this fine fellow, but I like it.  And its on graph paper.  I thought about hollowing out his head and making it part of my one-page dungeon entry.  I'd forgotten all about the one-page dungeon contest.  Completely.  I love that contest.  There are a lot of great prizes and holy crapola, a $300 anonymous donor. I think if I could win a prize (besides the cash) I would love PDFs of Land of Nod magazines.  I've got a handful, but one of the prizes is the entire run.  Color me wanting.  And of course I would never say no to dice.  There are not as many submissions this year as in years past.  I think the S&W Appreciation Day boggarted some of the energy.  April 30th is the deadline, so if you're going to get in better stop playing Black Ops...oh wait, never mind.

Also, make sure you go over to the Chronicles of Ganth and sign up for ERIC!'s giveaway.  The fifth tier in unlocked.  That means he's giving away $25 RPGNow bucks away.  If enough people sign up we can get ERIC! to shell out $50.  Let's put the screws to him and make him empty his pockets.  Join his blog, say howdy and I'll thank you when I win.

Time to go work on my one-page dungeon.  I have NO idea what it will be.  I'll need to mull it over.  Mulling never gets me far though.  I do better when I just sit down and just let loose.  Draw a map, write something a bit snarky and with a bit of humor.  Well, at least I'll think its funny.

Oh, and I wanted to thank everyone who wrote me emails about the Mini Manor.  It was fun to do and glad to do it.

Sleestak Sunday

Here is a painting by Shannon Shea.  He's got a shop on Etsy and only asking $20 for this beautiful painting.  I would jump all over this if I hadn't blown all my cash on the Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day.  But should you want to get me something for my birthday next month...

I seriously need to get some wall space for some fantasy art.  I used to have some, but that was long ago and I miss it.

Speaking of S&W Appreciation Day, it seems to have finally subsided.  Lots of after reports.  Ton of great content I am still finding.  My Mini Manor was downloaded 116 times since I posted yesterday.  I'm not sure how many times it was downloaded from Dropbox on its original release day.  I would have been curious to know that number.

Sleestak Sunday

Check out this badass version of Enik by GizmoGremlin77.  This Enik would bot be the kind that would put the Marshall's into nets and dangle them over a pit.  This Enik would walk up to them plant a crossbow bolt into their sternum and push them into the pit before their bodies hit the ground.  Gone is the Rita Moreno dress.  Now he's got a sash, man.
