The town of East Detroit, Michigan decided to change its name to Eastpointe, because Detroit had such a bad name by then. No word yet if Detroit will follow along and change its name to "Pointe".
Using the random town name generator, I see that Detroit could also be renamed as Rosalia.
Now, at least as useful as the town name generator is thie clown name generator I found.
