All gaming posts have been halted due to my wife making her homemade bagels. So there will be no talking about Fortune Cards, there will be no mention of what the OSR should do, and there will absolutely be no further delay in me eating one.
And yes, I am showing all you the picture so you can be jealous. Muhaha.
Sweet Pacman, send me some!
ReplyDeleteOh, man! Bagels are good stuff!! Those look really tasty!!!
ReplyDeleteI tried to take one tiny bite of Tim's second bagel and his stomach growled, loudly. Literally.
ReplyDeletegod I miss having an oven. no more granola, mayan bars, and fresh rolls for awhile...
ReplyDeleteOh my! Those look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteIf your wife makes me some of those bagels, I'll ask mine to make some of her homemade cinnamon rolls! ;)
Teasing us with bagels?
ReplyDeleteBastard.
Tim> That sounds like a great trade!
ReplyDeleteAHM> Not sure about granola, but fresh rolls and I am there.
Wife> Yeah my stomach said "Back away from the bagel woman!".
James> My god they were good.
LI> I'm sorry, but all bagels are have been assigned duties for the next few days.
Bagels and time with the missus over edition debates any day of the week. Enjoy!
ReplyDeletehome made granola is killer, throw it upon some yogurt and top it with fruits, that stuff is bomb.
ReplyDeleterecipe: bagel + extra crunchy pnutbutter + raw honey = ultimate energy
LOVE raw honey. I use it when I make homemade peanut butter.
ReplyDeleteAwesome looking Bagles. You know, I'm in Juneau and could visit the local micro-brewery. We could develop a trade agreement, micro-brewed Alaskan ESB for homemade bagles...
ReplyDelete@The Happy Whisk: We have yet to try making our own peanut butter. Do you have any good recipes?
ReplyDeleteSure do, Hive. Just toss some freshly oven roasted (unsalted and cooled) peanuts in a good blender or food processor. Add a bit of salt and some raw honey (or regular honey) and hit the power button.
ReplyDeleteWhen I do chunky-style, I reserve some chopped nuts and add them just at the end.
Store the peanut butter in a glass jar, close, refrigerate and open in the morning. Goes great on peanut butter toast.
Num num num.
PS: Where is your oven?
To my Husband: I hope you enjoyed your last bagel because I've locked the rest away in Ethel's freezer and since I changed your access code, you aint getting in. Take that Mister Shorts.
ReplyDeletebroken unfortunately. going to have to wait until summertime to replace it. life is good tho, the wife and I can still head over to the parents and in laws to borrow their oven.
ReplyDeletewill try that recipe out sometime for sure. thanks!
I'm sorry but I cannot stand bagels, I must be weird.
ReplyDeleteLook at her... bagels. Mmmmm.... bagels.
ReplyDeleteMission Accomplished: I have strong bagel envy
ReplyDeleteWill your kind, beautiful, amazing wife share the recipe?
ReplyDeleteWhere am I? They're bagels, but on black... Hmm.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I can say is that food is taking over this part of the net. Which is just fine by me.
