I'm keeping it simple to kick off my soon to be 3-day weekend.

What's the weirdest thing you've bought for gaming?

  3. A cheap plastic ball. I was planning on using it to make aglobe for my campaign world, but I decided my painintg skills were lacking and gave it up.

  8. A really girly journal I decided I liked the layout in enough to write in it. It's REALLY girly. Like, "hide it when the other guys are around" girly.

  9. Actual Game: The Awful Green Things from Outer Space.

    Miniatures Terrain: Green floral-arrangment foam that I intened to use to make hill terrain (but never did).

    Monopoly hotels, to make town terrain 6mm microarmor (did this, worked pretty well actually, so not really weird).

    8-inch-long wooden kitchen skewers that I intended to use to make a palisade or fort of some kind (but never did).
