I've always wanted to run some type of game where the players were members of a traveling carnival. Strange locations and people. Strange traditions and folk laws. I look at this picture and nod a little, thinking this would be my opening scene for the game.

This is an awesome campaign idea. Plus there is nothing (NOTHING!) creepier than a clown. Nothing.

DeleteErin Morgenstern's "The Night Circus" was one of my favorite reads this past year. You might find it an interesting read if you are serious about a carnival campaign.
