I am about to throw this on the forum over at Hydra. How about someone doing an OSR podcast? I am not that person since I have no idea how to do it. But I know how to listen to them. There are a ton of podcasts out there, but I would like to see one that is more OSR centric. Do what Underdark Gazette and more, interesting blog posts, current releases, announcements, interviews and general news. Just curious what others thought?
This is a great idea! I've done podcasts for my classes; they are pretty easy to put together.
ReplyDeleteI'll echo what I wrote, elsewhere. I'd rather see video.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't the Save or Die podcast already sort of have that covered? What other sorts of content do you think would be useful for an OSR podcast?
ReplyDeleteThere is also the Roll for Initiative podcast, though I have not listened to it. It seems to be focused on 1E AD&D, but browsing the summary blurbs suggests that there is some OSR content there also.
ReplyDeleteI've listened to several Roll for Initiative podcasts and think they're pretty good.

ReplyDeleteSorry - I just do hand puppets ;P
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have the abilitiy to keep myself from doing weird voices and accents for longer then a minute on video. I have enough time avoiding it while working... heh
