I always felt bad when I robbed the peasants blind in Morrowind, but could never stop myself. These guys aren't even using that giant axe, let alone the bread, or the books, or the money in the chest they've stored it in...
One of the reasons I always loved fallout was that even back in the first games, if you rooted through peoples chests and bookshelves they attacked you or screamed for help (and the town attacked you). UNLESS (for some spots) you had power armour, in which case they would say things like "just don't hurt me robot".

ReplyDeleteWhat bugs me is the hero cant earn a few exp for killing the peasants. ;-)
