Nope, I am not going to stop blogging, but this Tom Waits songs is one of my favorites and sort of suits my mood. This is for those you who remain and those who have gone.
What is to fight about? We're using dice and pretending to be dwarves and elves. So what if someone has a different opinion or idea? What's the harm? I've read a lot of stuff recently about the polarizing influence of social media, particularly blogs, in every aspect of life (not just politics)...the combination of people communicating in echo chambers with only like-minded folks while, at the same time, having the ability to comment in incredibly nasty ways towards anyone they might even mildly disagree with. Seems like that might be the downside of the blogosphere.
Waits! Yes! Thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteI'm not walking away from this blog or this song! Love Tom Waits.Very Cool!
