I grabbed mine at SkullSplitter Dice. I've grabbed a ton of dice there. Along with this die I grabbed a mystery bag of dice. I always get crazy, weird dice from them.

Behold! The World Breaker!
I got this beautiful beast today. A antique gold, metal 100 sided die. It weights almost a pound! This thing can do some damage. I love the look of it. It's going to make me create d100 tables.

Mork Borg, Black Hack, Fallout, Dice, and More
It was a very good Christmas at the Manor. Ivy and I worked hard this year to make the best of it. Our reward was to have the ability to splurge on some gifts and enjoy a real vacation. Here are the gaming gifts I am loving.
Ivy bought herself a Staedtler stylus for her new Remarkable 2 and absolutely loved it. She saw they had products I might enjoy and so she grabbed these ergo-friendly colored pencils. They are so good! The triangle shape and soft texture make them fantastic to use. Plus they blend so well. I hope to share some maps soon.
Part 2 of the Staedtler gifts. Markers. They are all the same size .03, and they bleed a bit. But the black is a true black. I used it as a filler pen and it works fantastic. I am curious to see what other options they have.
Dollar Tree has this deal going on where they are selling a set of 7 dice for a buck. That's $1. I went in for the case of 24 sets. Now I know I don't need more dice, but I have a good reason. Really I do. I was thinking of doing an endtable, fill a box with the dice and epoxy. Although I really want to open them all up and just roll.
I received a copy of Black Hack. I actually thought it was The Black Hack 2. I have to read better. However, I only had this on PDF so I am happy to have a copy.
I've been wanting these decks for a while now. I've looked through them and see Matt Jackson and Dyson contributed maps. Small write ups on each map. A variation of my micro-adventures. It got me to thinking of doing something like this only with tarot card sized decks.
The beast of 2020, Mork Borg. This won a bunch of awards and I've seen several Kickstarters and other 3rd party publishers jumping on board this juggernaut. Each page is a mind explosion. The time it must have taken to layout each page. No pair of pages is a like. And my last gaming gifts, I love my Fallout. I grabbed Fallout Wasteland Warefare RPG and Wasteland Warefare Dice Set. I'm not sure if I would ever run this as is. I've always wanted to create a d20 version of it. I think with this book and with the other source materials I have, the only thing that is stopping me is time.
That wraps up my Christmas. I am excited to read and use them all.

Mail Call!
Yesterday was a giant smelly turd of a day. This week is turning into a pile of them. Readjusting to the third version of normal in 6 months. Maybe I'm suffering from normal fatigue. The floodgates have been opened and wow, now I want to go on a three month lockdown. However, my mail saved my day. Let me show you what I got. Be prepared to be jealous and cry.
I'm starting off with Titan Dice. Over-sized, 25mm, dice that come in a cool wooden box. Here's the weird thing, they were sent to me in January and I got them today. Someone must have selected the expedited 6 month shipping option. The other weird thing is I already have the exact same set. I'm cool with that though. Dice are dice and I'll make my 1's larger. You can grab a set if these smoke colored with gold numbering Titan Dice on Amazon for $19.99.
***ALERT ALERT AFFILIATE LINK***
I got these great coins from a site called Dice Dungeons. I hadn't heard of them before. I think I found them when I was scrolling through Intagram one night. They have a bunch of different coins. I grabbed the horde and zombie packs. There were five in each. The horde pack came with 3 goblin and orc coins and the zombie horde came with 5 coins. I love weird fantasy style coins. Especially when you're playing a face-to-face came and some NPC offers a 100sp to help save Timmy because he fell down the well, and then throw a pouch with a 100 coins on the table. You get a much better reaction than saying it. The weight of them hitting the table and the sound of the coins sliding over one another has a visceral effect.
Oh yeah, I love me everything about Thieves World. This is one of the biggest holes in my gaming collection is the FASA books. They've been elusive because I forget about them or when I do look for them they are very expensive. I fell into these two on eBay for $25. They are just a fun read. I get flashbacks to the books pouring over the details of the S'danzo or strolling through the Maze or hearing about the Hell Hounds. This is my gaming gold. Have two of them now. Traitor and The Blue Camel are still missing. The latter maybe difficult to land because it was a promo item. Just checked eBay for a copy, $175 and $56.46. A bit too rich for me.
So now you see how my day was saved by a good mail day.

Got My Dice!
I was thrilled to get my dice in the mail. I got a 100 of each. The turn around time with inquiry, sample, order and complete transaction was fast. The customer service at Chessex was fantastic. I will definitely do return business with them. I'm glad I've bought way too many Chessex dice over the years. I'll buy more.
For now I am going to make up reasons to roll my dice.

Check Out My Dice
So +Martin Ralya suggested I contact Chessex to do a mock up of my dice. Smart guy. I did. Last night. This afternoon Chessex had them done and sent me pictures! Love both versions.
The logo was created by +trey causey. He did a fantastic job and I think it looks great...did I already say that?
Customer service Chessex has been outstanding.
The breakdown, At a quantity of 100-199, our 16mm style d6s would be $.60 each with one custom face. At a quantity of 200-499, this price would become $.50 per die.
I'm going to order 200 and I can split the type of dice I can get. So I am going to get a 100 of each. So it'll be a $100 for the dice and then $14 for shipping.
It is a vanity project of mine. Plus a little swag for folks who purchase stuff from me. And I hope to get into a con or two and set up shop.
My ballcap is off to Chessex.

Story Cubes, What to Do
The other day I scored this trio of Story Cubes. I've been a fan of these dice...well, because what's not to like? They don't smell. They aren't sticky. They have cool little pictures. And they are dice.
I recently discovered they have a medical set I haven't seen yet. However, I've had these for a while now, but haven't used them for anything yet. I keep thinking I will, but...
Has anyone used these in game and how so? I'm curious as to how others have used these.

Dice Porn: Group Dice
I scored some Game Science Dice from +Michael Pace this past week. Two sets of ugly dice and one set of color dice. I hadn't bought any Game Science dice in a while so I was due. I really, really like the ugly dice. They remind me of my first set of dice. Time to ink them.

Papa's Got a New Dice Chest
Went to Hobby Lobby today to get more cardstock. Found out all the cardstock was 50% off so ended up emptying the shelf of the kind I wanted. But I also found something very cool, a new chest for my dice. Ivy bought it for our tenth anniversary. Yep, bona fide dorks.
It's a lot bigger than my old one and I think it looks fantastic.
A side view of the handles.
Inside it has a wine colored lining.
This is comparison of my old dice chest to the new one. I'll show you why I needed to upgrade.
I got no room to grow. My new dice are ready to fall out and I can't even get my dice boxes inside.
This is what the dice look like in my new chest, including the dice containers. As you can see, PLENTY of room for NEW dice. Sorry ahead of time Ivy. You can see the coins in there to. I use the one dollar coins as gold pieces and I have Jersey Turnpike tokens I use for silver. Half dollars sometimes for silver. I use them for effect during a game. In the containers there are the blue dice I got from Frog God Games Kickstarter. They are Tardis blue and come in a great little container. The wife's frosted pink dice and then some swirly green dice I bought last St. Patrick's Day. Sorta become an unoffical holiday thing I do, get new dice on St. Patrick's Day. I'm also planning on storing my dicebags inside.
Is my new dice chest cool or not?
Oh one more thing. The wife scored pretty good tonight too. And she wants me to tell you that the cashier paid her eighty-one cents to take all this girly crap out of the store. Now it's in my box. I don't like that very much. Well, maybe the chocolate can stay.

New Dice
I traded Noble Knight Games some Manors for some store credit and I went shopping. I felt like getting some dice. Once in a while I just get the urge to splurge on dice. From left to right:
- Monster Dice from Flying Buffalo Games. I've seen these guys many times. I decided it was time I get a set. It has a die for easy monster, one for harder monsters and then a third for the tough monsters. Then there is a die color coded to correspond with what level of monster die you roll. And the last die has faces on it to determine the reaction of the monsters.
- Orc dice. They got orcs on them instead of ones.
- Friend or Foe dice. Its got a large warning in the bag that I may choke on these dice. I'm afraid to take them out of the bag. If they land on foe do they choke you out?
- And the last die is a pewter d100. Metal dice. Gotta love the way they crack those stupid glass tables and dent the wooden ones. And if all else fails they work wickedly well in a slingshot.

What To Do With All These Dice
Look at all these dice all over my table. I sure wish I had something to put them.
I wonder is I look around the house if I can find a home for my dice.
Hmm, I have a paper bag, but what if it rains. It will tear and my dice will fall out into the mud.
I have a tea bag, but that is just weird. And I don;t think Ivy would like me tea bagging my dice.
I have a classic Crown Royal bag, but its way to small. I wonder what I can do to find to the perfect home for my dice....
I know. I'll contact Michael who runs Greyed Out on Etsy. He makes some great dice bags. I know he has a Bad Moon orc dice bag I've been looking at for a while. I'll go order one now.
*Click*
{4 days pass}
Look what came in the mail today. My brand new Bad Moon orc dice bag from Greyed Out. Even all my dice love it. They are surrounding it ready to move in.
My dice can't wait. They are jumping in as fast as they can.
It got a little violent. The d6s started ganging up against the d12s. The d30 had to start policing the move.
Everybody is moved in and there is plenty of room to spare. My dice are very happy and so am I.
So end the quest to find a home for my dice. Greyed Out has a lot of cool designs and Michael will do custom orders. I wanted my Bad moon Orc to be free standing and wa la, Michael made it happen. I'm very happy with the finished product. The dice bags prices range from $16 to $24, but most are at the lower end. Thank you Michael for doing a great job. I'll be back for more.

My Newbs Have Leveled Up
I am stealing a recent blog title from Whisk. Next Thursday is the third session for the newbs and I am going to have them take the next step in gaming. I bought them each their own set of dice. Earlier this week I asked them what their favorite colors were and hinted that it would effect the next game. A couple of them were worried about their answer. They thought it was something that would mess up their character. I didn't correct them. At the start of our next adventure they will each have a brand spank'n new set of dice. My newbs have leveled up.

A Google+ Saturday
I've been posting on Google+ today having some fun with it. It's been a very casual day of inking some Game Science Dice, doing some layout for Zzarchov and doing a bit of editing of Starter Adventures. Well editing might be a very generous word since all I did was click on the file. My standards are low today. I may make toast and claim I severed up a three course meal claiming the bread, peanut butter and honey all count.
I see a lot of folks getting involved with the hangouts, but I don't have a video camera for my computer and not all that inclined to get one. I do have a microphone which is a big step for me. Do you need a camera for it to work?

So Many Great Dice
As you can see I am going to milk that con for several posts. This one is about the dice I bought then I think I only have my HakcMaster post, oh and another short one about other stuff I got I think that is it. Origins made my side bar total for the year leap $300. I'm not going to break everything down. I just don't remember. Well let's see these dice I got.
![]() | |
First off here are the free dice I got in the bag. I sorta wish I bought the whole commemorative Origins dice set that was in a very nice tin. |
![]() | |||
These are the old Armory Alignment dice. The package was so old it fell apart in my hands. Though I don't use alignment I still had to have them. The black die appears to have a bit of dandruff. |
![]() |
These are glow in the dark dice featuring alien heads, eyes and spaceships. |
![]() |
Glow in the dark I had to have them. Bad picture of them glowing, but you get the point. |
![]() |
Finally, my first set of Game Science dice. Uninked. Which I am regretting a little because I have discovered I suck at inking them. These things look like perfect chunks of amber. |
