Nothing.Unfortunately, my FLGS isn't participating. I was looking forward to special dice for my collection. I was going to take my wife and kids so that I could make sure I get the games I wanted. Now? I'll be sitting at home. Just do me a favor, Tim: You and Ivy enjoy FOR me, would you? Can't wait to hear about your loot.
Anything. Nothing special. Everything!Eden's Conspiracy X quick start looks fun.
My FLGS, Phantom of the Attic in Pittsburgh, usually goes with "Pick 3 booklets or 1 of these special things". "Special things" are usually the dice tower or something of that caliber.I'm going for the DCC adventure, WH40kRPG Only War Adventure (hoping it is a quick start, as it has been in the past), and probably the Harn setting/map, unless something else catches my eye. Bummed that there is no Hollow Earth Expedition adventure/quick start this year.
Unfortunately, the store closest to me that's participating is only giving things away if you're playing in an RPG event. I'll have my little one in tow, so that's not going to work for me (or more correctly, for him). They're having a 15% off sale on RPGs though - if they have anything on my wish list, I'll probably buy it.
Nothing at all, FRPGD basically doesn't happen in most UK stores. A real shame, I wanted to pick up the Only War adventure for the Warhammer 40K rpg, but that'll be an e-bay jobI guess.
Eggs Benedict. Bacon.
Wow. Some depressing answers up above, eh? Well, for my part, I'm looking to grab whatever Goodman sent along for DCC. I picked up their offering last year, and it was interesting (though after Free RPG 2011 they tried to actually sell the thing they had given away, which I thought was pretty lame). Other than that, I don't think there's much of interest. The guy who owns my FLGS said that the box was pretty lean this year, and he is very upset by that. Sign of the economy?
P.S. remind me to tell the wife to not work on Free RPG Day next year! I've gotta bring the kids along with me, so I can't stay to play in any of the games being run that day :-(
