I say 6 issue subscription because I can't commit to a monthly schedule, but a 6 issue schedule is very doable. So you may get one 7 weeks apart and the next one 3 weeks.
The price for subscribing would be you would buy 5 get the 6th free. Ivy would like that, it's almost a coupon.
So US scripts would be $17.50. Canada scripts would be $20. And other worldly scripts would com in at $22.50. If I do a script for PDF it would be $12.50. Those who I ask to contribute automatically get a freebie and wouldn't count against their total. Of course. Duh.

ReplyDeleteI do like the cover. I too have been mulling over pricing schemes and the like. I'm not sure that I'll be able to offer subscriptions at this point for a variety of reasons. Probably the first and foremost is that Delve! will be irregular in release schedule and that it will probably vary in size as well.

I think those are exceptionally reasonable rates. And I personally have no issue with irregular release dates. Expect a subscription from this fellow.
ReplyDeleteIt's a hallmark of zines to have irregular publication (which, incidentally, is why libraries that collect them typically catalog them as monographs and not serials) - so just play it up as taking part in a great tradition!
