It's done. The print version is available and I'll get the PDF ready by tonight. I lot of work went into this project with help from some very good people. I can't count how many times I tweaked it trying to get it right. I think I'm done. If you are so inclined, please take a look and I hope its useful or more importantly fun to read. I'm excited about releasing the first issue.
You can buy the print copy only on this blog. You can click the cover in the upper left hand corner or go to THE MANOR page under the banner.
The PDFs will be available at RPGNow later today. And possibly Lulu.
Have a great day everyone and I hope you enjoy The Manor.
Hey, nice job getting it done! I'll be buying one when I log on at home with my personal computer.
ReplyDeleteI see you're using Paypal, is that a free service?
Digital Orc I think it is. I'm still pretty new to this so I am figuring out as I go. But my experience with Paypal in the past has been good.

ReplyDeleteOk, let's see how long it needs to cross the ocean...

ReplyDeleteJust ordered a print copy! (Possibly with wrong address... see email)
ReplyDeleteSheesh.
I just bought the PDF. Why is the page size 8.5x11 rather than 5.5x8.5? It seems like it's supposed to be digest-sized...
ReplyDeleteJust picked up a pdf -- can't wait to read it this weekend!
ReplyDeleteAplus Its formatted like a regular manuscript, but when I print mine I use a booklet setting on my printer.
ReplyDeleteDigital Orc Great and got the correction.
Boric G I'll be shipping them out tomorrow. Tonight I am printing and stapling and enveloping and stamping.
Bard I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteRight on, Tim. I am really looking forward to this!
ReplyDeleteChristian Yours was sent out this morning with a handful of others. I hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Had to have a print copy though I think the pdf is great to have available.
ReplyDeleteTim, I get that you use the booklet printing functionality to print it, but usually when people make these documents that are intended to be printed as digest booklets, they will use a 5.5x8.5 page size in the source document. This helps ensure that the proportions are right, and then you don't have to make everything oversized in the source document in order to ensure it's legibility in print.
ReplyDeleteSee this for an example:
Age of Conan
It's a minor quibble, but if you're going to be making these, I figured I'd share the info, as it might make your life easier with future issues.
Have a fantastic weekend!
I'll give that a go. I've never tried it. Thanks for the info. Sometimes my technical know how is very limited.
ReplyDeleteGot my copy in the mail today. Very cool! Glad to be a part of this at the beginning. :)
